How often do you collect can you collect my waste?

We can collect your mixed waste on a weekly basis. Recycling & Compost bins are collected fortnightly.

What time does by bin need to be left out by?

Your bin must be left on the kerbside by 7am on the morning of your scheduled collection. We will collect recycling & compost bins on a fortnightly basis. Please click here for calendar.

Do you provide a weekly collection service for Domestic mixed waste collection?

We offer a weekly service just leave your bin out by 7am on the morning of your scheduled collection. We will collect recycling & compost bins on a fortnightly basis.

What can I put into my recycling bin?

What can I put in my compost bin?

You can put any of the following into your brown bin including:

Raw or cooked food

Meat, poultry & fish, including bones

Leftover food from your plate & dishes

Fruit & vegetables

Tea bags, coffee grinds & paper filters

Breads, cakes & biscuits

Rice, pasta & cereals

Dairy products (cheese, butter, yoghurt)

Soups & sauces

Eggs, egg shells & cardboard egg boxes

Food soiled paper napkins, paper towels & pizza boxes

Newspaper (when used for wrapping food waste)

Out of date food with packaging removed (no glass/plastic)

Grass clippings and small twigs can also be added to your large brown bin.

Where does my waste go?

We tip our waste in various licensed waste transfer facilities.

What if I have extra bulky waste to get rid off?

You can contact our office on 01 4011928 or email support@advancedwaste.ie and one of our agents will be happy to advise.

I’ve just set up an account how soon will I get my bins?

Your bins should be delivered to you within 3-5 working days upon opening an account with us.

I missed a collection, what do I do next?

Don’t worry, you can email support@advancedwaste.ie or call our office on 01 4011928 and one of our support agents will advise you of the next collection date.

I’m not happy with the service I received who should I contact?

We have built our reputation on the service we provide, so if you are not happy with the service you received, we would like to know. Please send an email to support@advancedwaste.ie and we will be in touch.

What happens if my bins are overweight?

You will be charged 25c per kilo over your weight allowance on general waste. You can review your weights through the Advanced Waste App available on App Store or Google Play or through our Customer Online Portal.

What happens if my recycling bin is contaminated?

If your recycling bin is contaminated your recycling bin will not be lifted by our collection staff. We will only arrange a further collection once the contaminated waste has been removed.

I don’t know my account number and Pin for the Online Customer Portal or Advanced Waste App?

You can call our office on 01 4011928 and we will happily advise you of your account number and pin number.
